Great opportunity to get in on the muscle car craze , The 1970 Buick Riviera has the highest horse power of any Riviera ever built with a factory rating of 370 HP and an amazing 510 lbs. of torque .This car is very good running and driving , but needs a little more to get the next level with nice examples selling in the 15K-20K range ,this one is priced far less. As you can see in the pictures it will need a headliner and vinyl top . It will come with nice rear window corners from a donor car. The car has always been in North Carolina and the bottom of fenders, doors and quarters are very solid. The elderly original owner had the car parked outdoors for many years and had a broken windshield which leaked through the dash and corroded the instrument cluster and rusted the front floor pans which have been replaced . The car will come with a super nice instrument cluster from a California donor car.& Lots have been already done to the car to make it road worthy , rebuilt carb, new gas tank with fuel pump, rebuilt brake booster , 4 core radiator ,tires, carpet, belts , hoses and much more.; This car has 42K miles on it and it still retains many of the;original date coded components such as the Engine, Transmission, Suspension parts, Quadrajet Carb, Ignition Coil, Brake booster, Wiper motor , Voltage Regulator, Alternator , A/C Compressor; Original Tri-Shield (RARE) Green floor mats and more Also ,the trunk compartment has been restored with OEM style material with the silver threads , and the reproduction cardboard side panels . The jack assembly has been refinished and includes the hard to find jack hook and spring .The car has 95% ORIGINAL PAINT code 45 Seamist Green and lots of patina&;, the sides of the car shine pretty well but the hood and trunk lid area very dull . Please keep in mind that this is a 46 year old car that had been sitting several years before my purchase and while it runs and drives fine around town , I have not driven any long; distance . This car should be trailered to its next home in my opinion .; I have owned 9 of these 1970 Rivieras over the last 24 years and have been a member of the Riviera Owners Association since 1991.
