1979 BMW 528i : 6 cylinder, automatic transmission, power windows and locks, original paint, original interior. This car is in exceptional condition for a 1979, this is an amazing find. I just cannot believe the condition of the original carpet and seats, just amazing. Even has the original trunk tool kit in place!Very well kept and maintained, garaged the majority of its life. The car runs and drives beautifully and there are some service records that go with the car, including receipt for rebuilt transmission. All electrical work, -the heater, radio (blaupunkt cassette), lights, turn signals, wipers, windows, everything works. The only thing that i can find missing are two of the 4 wheel trim rings, which are available on ebay, i just did not have time to buy a pair before auction. Although i bought the car for purpose of resale, I have personally driven this car quite a bit. The engine is silky smooth and moves the car impressively when you floor the pedal which these 528i cars were known for back in the day. The transmission shifts perfectly. It tracks straight down the road, and rides great with the 4 wheel independent suspension. The tires are new. The paint is showing very minimal wear for a 35 year old car. This car has not been detailed, this is how clean this car was when i found it. i simply wiped the car down before the photos. The car could still be professionally detailed and the paint buffed to really make it ready for shows. The car is extremely reliable and can be driven daily. Please call Mitch with any questions.
