Up for bid is a 2011 Ford Ranger XLT Extended Cab 4 door Pickup with 15,445 miles on it. It has the 4.0 liter, Single Overhead Cam, V-6 engine rated at 207 HP/238 lb.-ft. tq. coupled with a 5- speed manual overdrive transmission, and a 3.55:1 Rear axle This is a 2 wheel drive pick up, made to cruise down the highway comfortably with a light load and get you 27 MPG. The GVWR is 4760. It's a brilliant Vista Blue Metallic exterior with a medium dark flint cloth interior. It has Power Windows, Power Locks, Air Conditioning , Cruise Control, AM/FM/CD/Satellite Ready Radio with an Auxilary Input For Ipod or MP3 Class 3 Hitch + Factory Ford Bedliner. This truck was purchased new by the father in law of a good friend of mine (who I am posting this listing for) in late 2011. He purchased it just prior to retiring from Ford Motor Company, and used it to commute to work and help out with small projects around the house. I don't think anyone has ever sat in the rear jump seats, and if you look at the pictures, I'd be surprised if that bed hauled much more than groceries. It has never been in any accidents, or had an insurance claim of any kind; has had all maintenance as per dealer recommendations (which isn't much at 15,000 miles), and they have a clear title in hand. This truck is in excellent physical and mechanical condition, and actually has just under 1 year or 44,000 miles of powertrain warranty from Ford remaining. The only 2 known issues at all are: 1) There is a small dent in the passenger door that did not mark the paint and should be able to be removed by a paintless dent removal company, and 2) There is a scratch on the drives bedside wheel lip that is 3 1/4" marks covering approx. 1" in total length 2011 was the last year of production for the Ranger, and the 4.0 v-6 is a highly desirable power plant. The manual trans is pretty hard to come by, and you just don't find these trucks with this few miles on them. Edmonds puts the trade in value of this truck at $15,468 and the private party sale value at $16,781 Kelly Blue Book puts the private party value at $16,369 for fair, $17,433 for good and $18,129 for very good NADA says rough trade is $12,500, avg trade is $13,700 and clean trade is $14,675 The truck is for sale locally, and they are fielding all reasonable offers at any time, so we reserve the right to end this auction early due to prior sale, however once the reserve (which is set below any of the values posted above) goes off and the auction is within 48 hours of closing, this truck will not be sold to anyone but the high bidder from this auction.
