>Offered for your consideration is this neat vintage vw volkswagen dune buggy. Some of the great things aren runs great, low miles, solid pan, full roll bar for protection, and everything works. It could use your own personal touch for top paint if you want nicer paint, could use mats on the floor to your taste, could use nicer brake lights though the ones work fine. This is a great one to just go out and have fun with! Comes with a tow bar and also a bikini top. so you can easily tow it home with anything!! aluminum wheels. tires good. Full roll bar is great for safety, but does make the pedal area a little tighter, need trim shoes for shifting not flip flops! I'm located near the toledo express airport if you'd like to take it for a spin around the yard before bidding! check out the video of it . this is the old school 1600cc dual port. You know...the one you wanted as a kid because they really rip. I've been told the newer 1974 era vw bases are better than the old ones too!! I'm showing the floors with the seats out of it so you can see how great the floors are. You can see the original sound proofing rubber in the front too. I bought to pull behind my motorhome, but hubby wants a jeep. Again, this body is in great shape with no cracks or chips or damage but does have the rattle can special paint job! Just have to mention that because to me the pictures make it look better than what it is. It would take very little time to repaint if you wanted to because it's not much surface area. Myself, i'd just start having fun with it because that's the purpose of this type of vehicle!! Most if you look at them just have one bar around the back bolted to who know what? This one is a full 6 point roll cage. The front bar is hidden behind the windshield so you are incased in an invisible box. Also very nice to help pull yourself in and out by (that's why alot of old dune buggies are broken by the windshield). I don't know how you'd get out of them without the bar to pull yourself up by. It's very convenient! Again this means 2 bars above your head and bars on the sides. So if by chance you flip this you will be safe. I'm noticing alot of dune buggies look like they have a roll bar but do not have the full two bars and side bars. Take that into consideration when bidding on this great dune buggy!! I've been told this is an original manx but have no way of verifying that. I know my price is cheap, check out the others you won't find one this nice with a full roll bar.
