Here is a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado 4 X 4 pickup in just about perfect condition. I am selling it for the wife of a longtime friend that recently passed away. We hate to see it go, but everybody in the family already has a new vehicle or two and there is no need to let this sit in the garage for no good reason. The owner was an multiple award winning antique car restorer and this was his "go for" truck. He bought it new and it has always been garage kept and in perfect order. I don't know why he bought a 4 wheel drive as I've never known him to venture from a well paved street. The gravel driveway is the only off roading this truck has seen. Being in Arizona since new means there are zero rust considerations. The truck has 40,323 miles on it. It runs, drives, and looks like a new vehicle. The paint is brilliant red and the interior still looks and smells like it did on the showroom floor. It has lots of buttons on the radio, on the ceiling, on the steering wheel, on the right and left side of the dash. It has cloth interior as the leather in Arizona is cold in the winter and hot in the summer. It has a giant fold down center armrest, seat back and there are more buttons and knobs on the side of the seat. It has heavy duty floor mats as well as the heavy rubber bed liner. From what I've been told these are the most bulletproof trucks you can get. I know he wouldn't buy a newer one because something was changed in the transmission and he didn't like the way they shift. His wife has a new Tahoe or something and every time he drove it he cussed like a sailor. The glove box has all of the emissions papers and it always was perfect. There simply is no operational issue with this truck. With 40,000 miles on it I'm certain there are decades of worry free driving left in this. I know I get more excited about finding a low mileage vehicle than I would about any new car. This one averages about 5,700 miles per year. I know most truck guys could put that on in a month. I wish I could tell you more. I know he remarked about how great the gas mileage was, but I didn't pay attention. The truck was always as dependable as a clock and certainly saw no abuse in its pampered 40,000 miles. Here is your chance to get a like new truck for roughly one fourth the cost of a new one as well as cheaper insurance and taxes where they apply. You are buying it from a private owner with a clear no lien title. The truck is a used vehicle and must be sold as-is. We need half of the final bid within five days and the balance in ten.
