1940 Oldsmobile 4 door sedan Street Rod. Unlike the typical street rod, this car is all Oldsmobile. It is powered by a complete drive line from a 1975 Olds including the 350 engine, 350 turbo transmission, rear end, and front subframe. It runs and drives well and has front disc brakes. The brakes have all been redone. The exhaust system is about 4 years old. Everything but the windshield wipers work, including tilt steering, turn signals, horn, lights, radio (CD player). The wiring harness is new. The car has 15" aluminum wheels. The tires are newer with less than 2000 miles on them. The car has a new starter and carburator. The body is very solid with only minor blistering starting on the bottom of the two passenger side doors. The grille was custom made. The paint on the car is older and looks presentable but could use a repaint. The car passed NSRA inspection in 2006. The interior is very nicely done in gray cloth and leather and is very comfortable to ride and drive in. Feel comfortable in bidding on this car that has a reserve well below what you could build it for and get many years of dependable enjoyment. I am selling the car for a friend who is a dealer. If the winning bidder is from Ohio, you will have to pay Ohio taxes. Buyers from outside of the state will pay taxes when titled in your state.
