It is reliable enough to be a daily driver if needed. One of the last one made; This was the Last Year of the Volkswagen Karmann Ghia, and only 5,608 Hard Tops were made that year. It may be the "newest" year, but it also makes it the into the 2nd least produced in year bracket. Like new tires, engine rebuilt to a 1776cc less than 10k miles ago, tranny good and tight. Pressure plate, throw out bearing, arm and clutch disk all replaced as well; the only thing you have to do to this great vehicle is "make it yours!" Includes Vintage Speed roof rack and Wolfsburg West shift-lock. no damage to dash, headline in good, clean,white condition. Engine decklid lifted to allow extra cooling airflow. Engine has a deep sump for larger oil capacity. Runs on Brad Penn 20w50. Gas tank replaced a few years ago too. Steering box adjusted and works fine but there is a brand new spare steering box and damper (came with car when I got it) included and a box of spare "goodies" too. Bentley Hardback and Clinton paperback included with car as well. VDO gas gauge. stock radio with aftermarket "shorty" antenna currently on it. Also, side trim was removed. I just do not need two Vintage VW's. This car will last you for YEARS so long as your respect it and care for it as it deserves; it can be a legacy for your kids kids.... and the asking price is far these than a "throw-away-car" of todays world...
