Purchased originally from an insurance auction for stolen vehicles. Had Jeep inspected and title in Maryland. My daughter was in an accident in November 2013. The left front was damaged all sheet metal NOT the frame. Insurance Company totaled the Jeep due to salvage title. Informed the insurance company that I was going to keep the Jeep repair it and give it to my granddaughter. Had the jeep taken to a local shop and agreed on a price of $1500 to repair and paint the damage. After the repairs I had it towed to an inspection station and inspected. Needed front brakes and rotors had it repaired $249.00. 4 new tires and some front end repairs $700.00. Bought back from the insurance company for $524.00. Total $2973.00.... Have all repair invoices. Except for the tires but I can get a copy from Mr. Tire if needed... Great running Jeep. Straight 6 cylinder. After I had it inspected I took all my papers to DMV and was told due to the insurance error on the title request the Jeep could no longer be road titled in Maryland. Even though I had everything repaired. Jeep runs Great. I has been sitting in my drive way since April with nothing leaking. Exhaust if fine. Sold AS IS. Car has a ...... PARTS ONLY TITLE ...... as mistakenly requested by the insurance company. I am starting this auction at the amount I paid for a little less than I paid for the body repairs and the state inspection.
