This Scout is titled as a 1977 Half Ton Pickup. The previous owner took a 1980 Turbo Diesel and a 1977 Scout to make one. Was a Traveler, and he sourced the Cab Top, Tailgate, and behind the seat wall to complete the factory truck conversion. Has a 1980 Nissan SD33T Turbo Diesel Engine, runs great when warmed up, but smokes something terrible till warmed. Has no problem running 75MPH plus with torq to spare. Transmission works great, has 4X4 with locking hubs. Newer tires and wheels. Has multiple engine leaks but nothing really bad. Could make a drive anywhere in the US im sure. Gets 27MPG too. Body has a back yard paint Job, was not much rust but many repaired dents in box with terrible body work i was told. Front clip is great. Has Isuzu Trooper bucket seats, and a radio with rear speakers on the floor. Would make a great resto project or drive as is. Any Questions please feel free to msg me on here. Vin# plate on the cab, passenger door pillar matches the title and listed Vin#. Motor and and most everything else is 1980. This was built long before me owning it so I do not have a lot of info on what was used from each Scout, and im not a Scout expert. All I know is the Truck Top, Cab wall, and Tailgate to convert a Traveler to the Terra Standard Cab pickup are hard to find. So is the One year only SD33T engine. Thanks for looking
