For sale is a 1965 Chevy Impala convertible. This vehicle is in great condition. It is almost in show condition and ready to be a trophy winner. I built this car to win car shows but also to be an everyday driver. I wanted to enjoy driving the vehicle not hauling it. I first started off with the front end parts, shocks, springs, brake lines, brakes, caliper and rotors. Next was the rearend, transmission and engine. I had a professional engine builder start off with a Chevy 400 small block and build it into a 406 Chevy motor with 425hp. This motor has less than 1000 miles on it. It runs awesome and lots of power. No leaks, noises or smoking. Motor runs smooth and idles fine with no over heating or cutting off. I spent many hours finding the chrome parts for motor or having them re-chromed, most are new parts. Next I had a reputable paint shop put a fresh paint job on her this summer. All new metal, quarters, fenders, trunk lid and trunk area was replaced, There is very little to no bondo on this vehicle. I then ordered some interior pieces. All the interior is there besides the front seats, they are out of a late 60's Chevy Camaro. Many more items were added or replaced too many to name. All the chrome is in excellent shape or has been dripped in chrome. A few things need to be done to make show car quality, door panels will need to be replaced, they are everyday driver shape but not show quality and convetible top needs to be replaced or boot used for show quality, but its great for everyday driver.
