Please read all of this before placing a bid. I just got this cool old Ford truck last week as part of a barter deal. I know nothing about the history of the truck. At all. The body is solid for a 40 year old vehicle, there are some rust spots that I took good pictures of and also some light dings and dents. The truck runs and drives. It does not run and drive great it is old and has been sitting. I put 8 gallons of fresh gas in it, but I am sure there is still stale gas in the system. It has a new timing cover gasket so I am assuming it has had recent work done. The motor is oily and dirty. I drove it about 10 miles to try and evaluate the condition. The front end is loose, the brakes are spongy and need to be pumped to stop efficiently. Seems to have reasonable power for what it is. Shifts like it should. The interior is shot. It has 4 good matching Cooper Discoverer tires, 50% tread. I bought a new battery at O'rielly for $100.00. Lights work, gauges work, blower motor works. Heater core is not connected. The windows are hard to roll down, but go up ok. The tailgate latch is broken, I had to pull the rods with vise grips to open it. I think this would make a good project or donor vehicle.
