Up for auction is this 1979 Dodge Van that was customized for a wheelchair lift done by US Conversions of Elkhart Indiana. It was owned by a man who recently passed away that was confined to an electric wheelchair. He purchased it in 1985 and had it converted to use with his power wheelchair. The lift would lift him and his electric wheelchair (300 lbs ). The lift can be worked from inside or out. It has always been kept inside and always maintained for use when he needed to go anywhere. It was just inspected in March here in New York State. Oil was changed every 3000 miles. It has cruise control that doesn't work, rear doors need new pins to work (Not Used), Radio lights up but needs new antenna to work (Not Used). Drives, rides, and handles well for it's age.
