This is a special car that is ready for it's new home !!! Special ordered by Fay Becket of Los Angeles, California and delivered on April 17, 1968, this car has special ordered Grabber Orange paint that was not available on the 1968 Mustang. This is confirmed by the blank paint code on the trim plate and the Marti Report. Highly optioned car including the rare swing away steering wheel and ice cold factory air conditioning. Very original car restored with respect to originality. Mint original unrestored undercarriage. Rare, one of a kind Mustang in its most desirable year. Dual stage repaint in the factory Wimbledon White, one of the iconic colors on the early Mustangs... Excellent, show quality dual stage repaint in the special order Grabber Orange. Restored bucket seat interior with factory console. Original door panels and rear seat. At some point, the original front seats were replaced with one color Parchment seat covers. As you can see from the original rear seat, the covers should be two tone, Parchment with Ivory inserts. A new correct set of front and rear seat covers will be installed before delivery as would have been on the car when new. Front seats will be repadded to new condition. New White convertible top. Correct boot is also on order. Excellent new or original chrome & stainless. Ice cold factory air conditioning Equipped with the original rebuilt 302 J Code cubic inch V-8 engine and rebuilt original C-4 automatic transmission... New correct optional factory steel wheels and newer white letter radials Garage kept, pampered, and serviced, this car could not be nicer. This car has been refreshed, detailed and ready to drive or show.
