It looks incredible with straight lines and a nice, deep shine. Still decked out with the original Aluminum Finned Rocker Moldings and Spoilers this one looks fast sitting still. Equipped with a Shaker Ram Air system and a 4-Speed Toploader Transmission, you never forget you are behind the wheel Real Muscle Car. There has been a host of performance improvements that let this Mach 1 back up its Performance Heritage.The body is nice and solid. The lines are crips and the paint has a nice deep gloss. New bumpers front & rear compliment the clean moldings. This one is easily nice enough for weekend shows or a sunny day driver. It isn't perfect, but it is a very nice car.The interior is what we consider the Gold Standard of the era. The Mach 1's have a cock-pit style design that truly connect you with the car. You sit IN them, not on them. The materials are also very nice with the the comfort weave upholstery, molded & padded door panels and a nice woodgrain finish to compliment.The 351 Cleveland 4 Barrel has been upgraded with a Comp Thumper Cam. Comp designed these for an agressive idle and a street friendly power curve. The cam really makes the most of the Huge 4 Barrel cylinder heads with great power everywhere. A Holley Street Avenger works nicely and has excellent street manners. A nice performance exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers really brings out the sound. This car gets noticed.The suspension has been lowered 2" and the car sits down just right. The front sway bar has been upgraded to a larger unit and the factory rear sway bar is still in place. This Mach handles nice & flat. Combine this with the 4 speed & Disc Brakes and you have a car that just begs to be driven hard into the corners.The Currie 9" is a new traction-lock unit with a heavy duty case. It works seamlessly and the car gets excellent traction. The big 255 60 rear tires help out as well!
