It is equipped with a completely rebuilt 289 cubic inch mild cam engine that is estimated to produce 270+ horsepower. Producing top notch compression in each cylinder this beast runs very strong. Other replacements include a new Holly Carburetor, a new Cobra intake manifold, new Shelby style Tri-Y Headers, a new radiator, a new battery, new fuel pump, new fuel lines, new fuel filter, and a new master brake cylinder. Get up to speed quickly with the original C-4 "green dot" 3-speed automatic transmission and floor mounted shifter. This machine handles perfectly with all new shocks(front and rear heavy duty), new leaf and coil springs, U-joints, and a completely new front end. Scare off the competition with the new dual exhaust system and new turbo mufflers that provide great muscle car tone. The drive shaft has recently been balanced and we have equipped a brand new fuel tank that has been converted to the 1970 tank allowing for 22 gallon capacity! Along with all those features we really cleaned up the interior. To start, we have equipped a brand new aftermarket air conditioning that is seamlessly integrated delivering ice cold air. This Mustang has been upgraded with brand new carpeting, including sound deadening insulation, new chrome floor mounted shift selector housing, new dash, new instrument cluster, new NOS headlight switch, new GT350 floor mats, and new chrome side panel pieces for the front bucket seats. Some other upgrades include a new wood steering wheel and wood transmission selector handle, new Jensen AM/FM Cassette player, new 1966 style interior day/night mirror, and new door handles and window cranks. It still has original and fully functional gauges, speedometer, heater, and defroster. The body of the car is just as beautiful as the first day it drove off the lot. New door handles, mirrors, front and rear bumpers, molded hood scoop, and fiberglass side mounted "brake" scoop all help to make this a gem of our showroom. This Mustang is sitting pretty on four new B.F. Goodrich radial tires and new Magnum 500 wheels. The original Rangoon Red paint has held up perfectly for almost 50 years with no existing body damage and a recently added gold GT 350 H side stipe. Other features include a new Cobra GT 350 gas cap, new L.E.D. tail lights, and new halogen headlamps. The trunk has been equipped with a new lock, mat and matching spare tire cover, two matching athletic bags(one containing tire changing tools), new anti-rattle truck tension pads, and a new B.F. Goodrich spare mounted on a new Magnum 500 rim. All in all you will be sure to turn heads in this beautiful Mustang.
