Let me start off by saying I AM the guy you want to buy a used car from. I am an ASE certified mechanic who is very particular about what I drive and the condition it is kept in. I am the guy who parks way out there not to get any door dings on my cars, I am the guy who never drives a dirty car it has to be perfect at all times. I am the guy who has floor mats on top of his floor mats. Anal? YES but like I said I AM the guy you want to buy a used car from. After working for Ford for 10 years I realized just how great a car a Crown Victoria was. The last of the full frame, V-8, rear wheel drive American sedans I had to have one. I started off buying used Police Interceptors but after a few of them I realized how hard they were beat on even though they claimed to be "Fleet maintained" they see hard use even the ones with low mileage (some departments consider oil changes every 6000 miles in a hard driven, running 24 hours a day police vehicle to be acceptable I totally disagree) what's also funny is the way the sellers try and cover it up. Every police package car on Ebay is listed as a "captains car" or a "detectives car" or a "one officer take home car" they are all sold at auction it is impossible to find out how the car was last used. So I set my sights higher and said no more police cars! Most people don't realize that except for dual exhaust, tires, engine coolers and a bigger alternator it is the same car as a regular crown vic. There is no "Government Chip" that makes the police car go 200 MPH. like most civilians think. This 2005 Crown Victoria LX Sport is a needle in a haystack! it has been garaged all it's life and is in incredible shape with only 45,555 miles! it looks, runs and drives like a new Crown Vic. The original owner had passed away and left the car to his daughter who immediately traded it in on a new Honda (she did not want the memories of her dad) I looked at it the first day it was available and could not buy it fast enough! Since I have taken ownership I have totally gone thru the car and made some improvements to the looks as well (I am not a kid I am 45 years old but did not like the old man look of the car) Lets start with the outside the body is in incredible shape for a 2005 car no dings or dents, no accidents of any kind and the paint shines like glass. The door jambs are immaculate even the paint under the car still shines. (they don't use road salt like up north) I had the windows tinted 35% which is legal in most all states. I added the ventshades above the windows which allow you to crack the window in the rain (not that this car sees rain LOL!) up front it has smoked mercury maurauder type headlights and side markers which go well with the silver paint. And the center of the grille has been painted black (the LX sport comes with a body colored grille which was too much silver up front) the wheels are the stock ford LX sport aluminum wheels that were just given a coat of "plasti-dip" (if you have never seen plati-dip look it up on you tube) it is a rubberized spray that once again if you would rather have the wheels silver it just peels right off. the tires are like new with a lot of life yet the are the correct michelins for the car including the full size spare. I am not some teenager I baby my cars and like them to turn heads.Under the hood the 4.6 motor runs like new with only 45,555 miles on it it has many more years ahead (these engines can go 250,000-300,000 with ease) The LX sport is a dual exhaust car which gives it the same HP as a police model. The oil still comes out of the motor clean after 3000 miles! I changed everything I could change under the hood even though it did not need it to make sure it would always be 110% reliable. It has all NEW8 new Fuel injectors8 new coil packs8 spark plugs and bootsfuel filteregr valvemass air flow sensorthrottle position sensorserpintine beltradiator hoses top and bottomheater hosesair filterantifreezetrans filter and fluidrear end fluidI am sure I am forgetting something but as you can see I take good care of my cars. You can fly in from California and feel good driving this car home. The interior is black leather and is in great shape you can tell the leather has been conditioned since new it is soft and not all dryed up. No rips or tears in any of the seats, the back seat looks as if it was never sat in! the headliner is like new, all the door panels are clean and even the rug is nice as well. The dash is beautiful no cracks or damage I even had a carpeted dash cover made to cover the dashboard. I always use a sunscreen when parked but the sunscreen does not protect it from the sun while you are driving. This car has NEVER been smoked in! It is loaded with options you are never going to see in a police car it is like a LINCOLN. It has factroy air ride suspension, auto headlamps, automatic climate control, adjustable pedals, dual power seats, traction control, overhead compass, factory CD & cassette in dash along with a ford trunk mounted 6 disc CD that works from the factory radio. I even added and MP3 jack with an MP3 charger because you could not get one in 2005. Everything works on this car there are no excuses, it runs, drives, shifts and stops like a new car. It is an incredible car to drive you will not find a nicer 2005! for this price it is one heck of a DEAL and it won't last long.
