At Lake Hill Motors we have new and vintage motorcycles. The item up for auction is a beautiful like new, all original, showroom condition vintage Lambretta 150 LI scooter. The scooter is original. It runs, cranks, shifts, & rides great! Everything on this scooter is in like new condition including the muffler, wheels, tires, lights, chrome, and seats. History: A note was found among the documents included with the Lambretta that reads: “Bought new in Azor Islands in 1960 by [ … ] who is Air Force retired and lives in [ … ]. One owner. Actual miles 15. Max speed 54 MPH. Engine, single cylinder, 2 stroke, air cooled, 6.5 hp at 5300 RPM. Fuel capacity 1 ⅓ Gal. Fuel Consumption 75 MPG.” We are the 3rd owners. We bought it from the man who completely restored it in 2005. Since the restoration, it has been cranked once, to check that everything was running as it should. Then, the gas was drained from the system and the scooter was placed in a museum. When we bought it, it just moved to a new museum. It has been in a climate controlled environment since its restoration in 2005. We do not have a title for this scooter. In most all States is it easy to get a title for scooters of this age. The odometer shows 3469 original miles. The scooter is in excellent showroom/museum condition. See pictures for more details. The scooter has not been thoroughly cleaned or polished. We try to take as many detailed pictures as possible.
