Vehicle Detail

2004 Honda Civic Si odometer: 48000 manual transmission I am the second owner of this super clean low miles Si. This car has been babied by myself as well as original owner. Car has always been garaged and kept covered by custom Honda cover since new. The car has never been driven in winter by original owner or myself. So the car is just as spotless underneath. There is no rust anywhere on this Honda. It has rarely even seen rain unless by accident? She was driven mainly on weekends only and in nice weather, hense the low miles on the car. Like I said she has been babied. There have been many upgrades made to this car by both original owner and myself. In total there has been well over 60 grand thrown at this Honda in parts and labor between myself and original owner. Sounds crazy? Yes!!! But it really doesn't take long to spend a lot of money when you start adding go fast parts. Most recently she underwent the most expensive upgrade to date. A complete engine/trans swap that was finished up at the end of this past summer. The original motors head gasket failed do to a bad tune. I was going to just have the top end rebuilt at first. However I had very low mileage engine out of a 2008 Civic Si donor car with 6 speed LSD transmission that I had purchased for another project. The donor engine is like new still with only 28k miles on it! I know the mileage is correct because I purchased it back in 2009 out of a wrecked 2008. The swap from the original K20a2 to this K20z3 is a major upgrade in power and performance. The K20z3 boasts almost 50 more hp naturally aspirated in 100 percent stock form! And is a true V-tech motor, where is the older K20a2 was always in V-tech full time. So with the newer setup you save on gas at lower rpm's because the engine is utilizing the smaller cam lobes. But then becomes a beast once you go over a certain rpm! And that can all be adjusted with the tune in the ECU. I will list everything that has been done to this car to the best of my knowledge by both myself and original owner. I still talk to original owner and if need be he can be reached if you have any questions I cant answer? Fake carbon fiber dash inserts to cover stock silver, $75.00 Custom turbo gauges on driver pilar, $150.00 Comes with a "GReddy" digital turbo timer, not currently installed This car is basically 95 percent ready to roll. However the car will still need to be dyno tuned or street tuned. It currently has a very basic and conservative fuel tune only on E-85. Car runs pretty good on just a fuel tune but will not shine until it gets properly tuned. Also when the swap was done there was an issue with getting the speedo and odometer to work. This was caused because the old engine uses the mechanical driven pulse type analog speed sensor. The new setup uses the magnetic digital pickup. So the pulse rate needed to be cut in half and converted from a digital signal back to an analog signal for it to function properly. I found the divice that corrects this from a company called "Dakota Digital" . Dakota Digital tech support says it will fix the problem and allow the speedo and odom to work once its set up correctly. I have not had time to set up or program this new device as of yet. It is in the car though. This is also why I have not been driving the car at all. Ok so here is the deal, I just got layed off so I wont be able to do much with the car at least until next summer? I don't have the time nor the money to pay somebody to finish whats left to do? So if the car doesn't sale, it is just going to sit for another year in storage. Call or text me whenever. Im available to show the car almost anytime. Rob, (402)seven zero six-2684 good luck and thanks for checking out my add!
