1956 CHEVROLET BEL AIR 2 DOOR HARDTOP RESTORATION PROJECT Since it's inception there was never a time that these cars were cold and undesirable from the 50's 60's 70's 80's 90's and today they have been red hot since 1956. The 56 Bel Air Hardtop is a lot harder to find then the 55 and 57 hardtop models. This must have been some beautiful car in it's day, a top of the line 2 door hardtop V-8 car Bel Air in Tropical Turquoise with an India Ivory two tone plus a turquoise interior WOW! Overall it is not too bad of a restoration project the body has issues in the usual tri 5 areas. The floor pans will need repair passenger side rocker needs replacement but it comes with a new one along with several other patch panels in areas that need replacement. The trunk is solid overall it does have some small holes starting. Study the parts photos good you will see what comes with the car if you do not see it do not assume it is included. This car has NO ENGINE or TRANSMISSION and NO FRONT SEAT included with the sale the original real seat is still there. The front and rear windshield were damaged and thrown out they will need replacement. The hardtop roof trim looks to be present along with the flippers above the doors. The windsheild channles are solid overall. The car was sandblasted so what you see is what you get the front fenders are loosely bolted on. Lets not forget this is a FULL rstoration project ready for a full restoration or hot rod, pro touring or gasser build. This car is selling for cheap money so don't snooze on this one. When finished it will bring huge money no matter what version you build it in and a 56 Chevy will always have an strong investment potential unlike most cars they are always in demand.
