Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is a 1968 Plymouth Fury III 4 Door car which had been a good running car but has sat up for a couple of years. It was owned by an elderly couple who I was told got too old to drive it and sold it to the guy I bought it from later. He told me the little over 48,000 miles is the original mileage. It had a good 383 V-8 with automatic trans which shifted out fine. It has the A/C set-up with original brackets, but the compressor went bad and the last owner took it off and put it in the trunk. He was going to use the motor and trans for another project, but like me never got to. It was also converted to electronic ignition by this 2nd owner who used to work at the local Chrysler dealership in town. In the time it sat up I cranked it up off and on till the last couple years when some critters decided to make it their home and chewed off the plug wires and a few of the wires to the electronic ignition box. it has a pretty straight body and chrome trim with one piece trying to come loose at the passenger rear door. The body is a faded green color with some surface rust. The factory tint glass is all good with no chips. The interior is pretty fair to good shape but the front black bench seat has a hole in the drivers side, and the dash pad has cracks in it from sitting out in Texas Summers. It has a super large trunk and has some extra used window motor parts, etc included. I was planning on using the motor and trans out of it in the Dodge Challenger car I presently have for sale in another Ebay ad - Would make a great combination, but am losing my storage space! Three of the 15" tires hold air , but the front passenger tire has blown-out and will not hold air. To get it running you would need plug wires, some wires to splice the chewed wires, some gas and a battery. Also a tire. The tags are out also. I have a clear title to this car also. These cars are being sought out by Mopar fans as they have the original big block power steering, a/c brackets, mounts, etc, you need for converting to A through E and C bodies. This car will be picked up by winning bidder as I cannot deliver. Also since the car is in the shape it is in I am selling it AS-IS. NOTE--WINNING BIDDER TO PAY PAYPAL DEPOSIT AND PAY ONLY IN CASH THE REMAINDER WHEN PICKING UP THE VEHICLE. NO CASHIERS CHECKS OR MONEY ORDERS ACCEPTED--I HAVE BEEN BURNED BEFORE ON THESE!
