He debated for months and finally decided to sell it to me. This bike can be a great value if:1. You bid and win it low enough to afford the California registration, penalties and sales tax portion to $700.00 maximum plus your delivery or shipping costs.2. You want it for parts or a project.3. You are not in California and do not need a title or registration to register it in another state or country.I bought this nice running, freshly rebuilt bike with the intention of using the parts to build a custom bike.I knew up front just as I am letting you know now that there are past due registration penalties due in California.My second choice was to just part it out on e-bay and end up with over$2000.00 and no registration liability.This is a nice running bike andI am the busiest motorcycle shop in the Palm Springs area so I am going with my 3rd choice to just sell it as a good running bike. I hope that you win it cheap enough to afford the registration or have more time than I to eithersell this one piece at a time or build a custom bobber with your own frame or just use this nice fresh motor in your bike and have tons of spare parts for back up.I have personally test rode this bike (see the video) and it is in very nice mechanical condition. The engine is fresh and it sounds nice and smooth.Look at the picture of the underside of the engine. There are no leaks of any kind.The clutch does not slip and it shifts very nice. The wheels are straight as is everything. The exhaust and spoke wheels are stock and in very amazing condition. You will not find any rust anywhere. The tank looksfair except for the 2 small dents.There is no rust or junk inside the tank and it has not been lined.The seats need to be recovered.I have contacted the DMV with myBill of Sale and a lost title statement.DMV will not give me a new title unlessI pay the registration fees.Before you bid please keep in mind that I do not know of any state that will allowyou to transfer title without having an actual title to begin with.I am a licensed and bonded CaliforniaDMV motorcycle dealer and in this same location for over 30 years.This e-bay ad is linked to my store and shows my 100% positive reputation score.
