1963 M Code with factory 406 Tri-Power. Also with factory air. Fully loaded roadster. This car has been totally disassembled and repainted black, the original color from the factory, had all the factory numbers and markings put back inside the door panels, and all body parts reassembled. Original parts or remanufactured parts. Everything on this car has been redone. About 90% finished. Comes with most everything to complete it. List is way too long to name all the parts - all the way from new hood hinges to wire spoke wheels to electric motors inside the doors for the windows. This car is listed by the serial number in Thunderbird Restoration Guide. This is a rare opportunity to own one of the rarest Thunderbirds there is. According to the Thunderbird Registry it's listed as follows: 'Built Sept. 10, 1962, with a DSO 71, Los Angeles. This car was sold new by Leon Ames Ford in Studio City, CA, and has an invoice dated Sept. 7, 1962. The invoice lists the air conditioner as a Universal Conditioner. This car has been repainted Rangoon Rod and has the tri-power and chrome dress-up kit (minus the power steering reservoir cap). The car was restored in 1982 and has reproduction wire wheels. The mileage shown is 80,000 and it has an axle code "2" for 3,10:1 gears." The odometer now shows 77,000 miles believed to be correct. This may be the only Thunderbird in 1963 "M" code that was black with factory air. I've owned this car 3 or 4 years along with another one that I have completed about a month ago for myself.
