1947 Plymouth 2 Door Sedan The story: This was purchased about 3 years ago with a bad engine and it was replaced but the purchaser never got the engine Running. He did however put in a new interior at a cost of over $800.00. He then sold the car to local car collector who rewired the dash and engine and it now runs and starts very good. All new Brakes were installed and the Chrome bumpers, bumper Guards, Hood ornament and other trim pieces were removed and re chromed at a cost of $1100. (receipt for chrome will be given with purchase). This Car Collector is over 80 and decided it was time to let a few things go and that is when I purchased this. With all the new Chrome, Interior and engine this should be a good car for some one to finish. What it needs, The Car needs some body work but is Solid. The glass is ok execpt the windshield but the glass is flat and should not be too hard to fix. It is Driveable and Brakes work but needs some TLC. The Radiator has a slight leak and the Gas tank should be replaced, (probably with a fuel cell would be easiest). The price is low starting at Just $2975 with no reserve Additional information as of 4/24/13 the rechromed pieces are the front and rear bumbers and the 4 bumper guards, The center windshield and the hood ornamentThe rest of the chrome pieces are original. The doors and windows do need some attention to work properly.
