I searched for months looking for a documented low mileage early 944 and found this one in Eastern Virginia. The car looked pretty good when I got it, but it had been in storage for a number of years. I manage the Service departments for a car dealer group and was a technician for years early in my career. I love this car and have spent many hours making it a special car that I could be proud of. This is the first year that they imported the most popular Porsche to the US. I purchased this one from the Purple Heart Auction where the original owner had donated it. I have a copy of the title that I made before surrendering it to the DMV. The car has 43,000 actual miles and had no paint work ever before I purchased it. The car has power windows, power heated mirrors, air conditioning, new high quality audio system with remote, 5 speed manual transmission, huge removable sunroof. I thought I would never sell the car but, one of our dealerships traded for a boat that I want to buy and my wife has suggested that I have reached the maximum allowable number of toys. Finding a really nice 944 is getting harder and harder and if you plan to service it yourself, the early models are the best. It's not a show car but you will be proud when you drive to local cruise-ins and all the expensive stuff is done. The AC blow cold, and the car drives great. The car is freshly painted by my best painter who took the car apart to do an outstanding job. I absolutely love this car, and so will you.
