Vehicle Detail
Nice R75/5 with rear-sets, 2 into 1 stainless exhaust, Corbin seat, bar end signals, Albert mirrors, upgraded clutch release (forget what it is called), custom aluminum triple clamp, aluminum fuel cap. Everything in working order, good Metzler tires, Progressive rear shocks, runs and handles great! This bike has an Ohio title and those are expired Texas Antique plates off something else (I sneak around). Appears the owner from Ohio sold it to a Texas owner in 2005 who never transferred the title but the Ohio title is open and ready for a new owner's name. I'm selling because I need the room and I'm not riding much any more (old). The tool tray is there but I don't have the factory tool kit (replacements are available). I don't think I have a key for the fork or seat, but the locks are there. I have the side covers. The previous owner blasted them to remove the chrome and I chose to remove them. The odometer works and but I have no verification of the mileage. I've only owned the bike a few years but I do have some receipts that came with the bike. I have a repair receipt from 2005 showing the mileage was 7767 at that time. I have a receipt for the custom aluminum upper triple tree cost $700 (at Perrys in Ft Worth) in 2006! The VIN numbers match (engine and frame) and are as stated on the title and the ebay ad (VIN=2983389). This VIN is also on the factory tag on the neck of the frame. I looked at the title and the mileage on the title from August 2005 is stated as 9700. I have a repair reciept ($942) where the new owner (in Texas) took it in for work in Sept 2005 and the mileage is documented as 7767 so likely the mileage on the title was a guess, done at the tax office when the bike was not present. When I bough the bike it had the large fiberglass 10 gallon tank, but it leaked. This tank was repaired by Perry in Ft Worth (ouch$) but has not yet been repainted. I like the looks of the toaster tank better so I have no plans to reinstall the monster tank, but the monster tank (called a Wonderer tank per Perry) is available for purchase for $1000 as is, first option going to the buyer of this bike if they want it. I will take Paypal for the entire amount. I will not ship the bike, but I will cooperate with your shipper. There is no hurry to move the bike if paid for. Please only bid if you intend to pay for it.
