You are bidding on a 1957 Pontiac Bonneville Convertible, car # 285 out of 630 total production. There are a total of 61 cars on the registry that are confirmed authentic & this one has been confirned. This 57 Bonneville is 1 of 7 cars that were Kenya Ivory with Bonneville Red insert & Charcoal interior combination. The data plate on car shows all the Bonneville codes & car # 285. . This blue chip collectible was purchased new from Ebersole Pontiac Lebanon, PA & was sold to the Reese family. The Reese family were the owners of Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Candy Co. The Reese family owned the car for 10 years with stories of the daughter drag racing the car. In 1967 the Bonneville was traded back to Ebersole Pontiac & sold to a local Pontiac collector. The Bonneville was driven until 1970 when it was put into storage where it had remained for decades until my recent aquistion. I installed a battery, engine turns but does not run as fuel injection will need servicing. Engine block matches the vin number on the door jam & is shown in pictures. The body retaines most of its factory appiled lacquer paint w/ a few touchups. The car for the most part is rust free but does have patched floors on the drivers side. Interior is original. Overall a very good restoration project car with known history. Complete. Speedometer shows 55,000 miles but cannot confirm as actual. Clear PA title. No warranty expressed or implied. Sold as is.
