1024x768 2001 Volkswagon Jetta GL MILES: 99,535 COLOR: Galactic Blue exterior, Gray interior CONDITION: Excellent. The car has never been in an accident, never driven in snow. It has been driven carefully as a family car by non-smokers (also, no pets have been in this car). The check engine light is NOT on (unlike many other Jettas of this age out there). Purchased as a certified pre-owned vehicle in 2004. THE DRIVE: It still runs, and it drives great. Starts quickly and easily. Shifts smoothly. Accelerates well on the highway, with plenty of power. Steering is tight and responsive. Brakes are smooth and still sensitive. The car has a sporty feel, and it is a pleasure to drive. FLAWS: A few dings and scratches from normal wear/tear. Paint has worn in a few places: side mirrors, near front grill (see pictures). Some scratches near door handles. Small paint chip on rear bumper. Driver side sun visor has broken off, but can be replaced easily and cheaply. The handle on the dipstick and some of the plastic tube around it have broken off, but it is still usable. Brakes squeak a little sometimes when backing up, but it’s a minor annoyance. ADDITIONS: All four windows and the rear windshield are tinted. Black wheel covers. Universal floor mats. Base for phone/GPS mount.
