My 1980 Pontiac Trans Am Pace Car Project is for Sale. JUST PLAIN NO TIME for the care it needs and lost storage space. Listed below is what I have done and problems I know of. By no means is this a complete list. Engine Rebuilt - Crank 10/10 Pistons 30 - Running and runs nicely. Carb Rebuilt / Turbo Rebuilt / New Lines New HI Amp Alternator New 4 Core Radiator and Clutch Fan ( The reason why a lot of these 301's didn't last long is overheating) Seats all reskinned / New Rugs / New Headliner for interior. New rear deck speaker support made. New Battery - Starts and runs everytime Front Tires are Good - Rear tires low on Tread Proper Wheels for the car. New Hood Liner and Painted heat Shield New Firebird Floor Mats No Floor pan Rust No Spring Shackle/Hanger Rust Trunk Lid Replaced because of original being rusted. Things I know of : Car has sat for 3 years and towing is suggested. Paint flaking off - may have been repainted improperly previous to my ownership. Trunk lid spring is sprung - does not stay up Missing dipstick tube and Stick Original Exhaust - Bangs a little underneath but no holes. Dashboard has no radio and hole enlargened. Dash needs TLC Original seatbelts may be non usable - I have a set of black ones which will be supplied with car and not installed. Missing one wheel cap Missing Trunk spare tire, Jack and accesories Some rug stains are present on the new rugs - I am sure they are cleanable. Drivers Side Glass Scrape - Window misalignment ?? Crack in Windshield. Some Stickers are supplied with the vehicle as pictured MORE PICTURES WILL BE SUPPLIED BEFORE AUCTION CLOSE !
