I hope you'll stay and view all the pictures below. Built in Fremont California and it has never strayed too far from the San Francisco Bay Area. Its had 2 repaints over the original Cardinal Red factory paint. There have been an assortment of small parking lot dents and dings over the years, but no rust out or heavy collision damage. It has a fair driver quality finish with many small imperfections, but it looks good going down the road and still gets lots of attention wherever it goes. The window moldings have been removed and reinstalled several times and some have the scars to prove it. The hood, fenders and Endura bumper line up well, and the doors fit good and close solidly. It was a victim of a parking lot hit and run some years ago, which gave the rear bumper its slightly bowed appearance. Being from California, there are no rust issues anywhere in the floors, trunk, or frame. The original numbers matching 400 4-brl engine has approximately 40K on a rebuild (unfortunately the shop who did the work painted it Chevy orange). It has all the dated coded components still in place with exception of the alternator,starter and carburator. It's been updated with an HEI distributor, but the original is included in the sale. It starts easily, and runs smoothly with power to spare. The original TH 400 transmission provides smooth, positive shifts, and transfers the power to a 3.08 Posi rear end. With the power disc brakes and power steering, it's a friendly driver that won't tire you out on a long trip, and it's docile enough for your wife or girlfriend to drive around town. The interior is mostly original with some repairs to the seats, a recovered dash, and replacement carpets. Once you have a seat in the driver's bucket, you'll notice the rally gauges, in-dash tach, and of course the original Formula steering wheel. Also present: Cruise control, Heated rear window defroster (not currently functioning) and Air conditioning (Missing the compressor and some of the mounting brackets). It had an aftermarket radio that has been installed, but it's currently removed for repairs. Many more photos to follow.
