NO RESERVE : 48 F1, I pulled this truck out of a heated garage where it had been sitting since 1967. The body was disassembled and removed from the chassis. The chassis had been blasted and painted. I then removed the front and rear suspensions, replaced the front suspension with a totaly rebuilt ( ball joints, steering boots, tie rod ends, rotors, calipers and urethane bushings) Jaguar independent with rack and pinion steering and power disc brakes. This setup was chosen because it requires no cutting of the frame to install. It's basicaly a bolt in. The 48 rear axle was replaced with a later 9 inch running a 3:70 gear set, I do have a 3:50 set that goes with the truck. A new master cylinder and power brake booster were installed, the frame was boxed back to the firewall. A pretty much stock Ford 4 bbl. 302 with a Edelbrock 550 cfm carb. and a C4 trans were installed along with a new radiator. Cooling is done by a 16 inch thermostatically controled fan. A custom dash insert was fabricated and installed with up to date gauges that all function as they should. The headlights are aftermarket with built in turn signals, the rear tailights are military. The steering column is a Cheverolet tilt model. The truck was completely rewired including relays as needed, a 130 amp alternator with 6 gauge wire. And of course all fuel and brake lines are new. There is a 15 gallon aluminum fuel cell installed with a Holley electric fuel pump and Holley fuel press. regulator with a gauge. The front wheels are Chevy 4 3/4 in. bolt pattern, the rear are reversed ford truck. The tires are kumo with less than 500 miles on them. I have done no body work to this truck except to redo the floors, that I have pics. of during the repairs. The front bumper is from a 47 Ford car.The seat has been lowered 2" and sits just right I think, but I do have another srock seat track that will go with. I'm sure I'm forgetting some things, so ask questions and I'll do my best to answer them. This isn't some slapped together, bondoed up, painted flat black piece of crap, a lot of time and thought went into this truck. The patina is 99% original and was covered with a lite coat of semi-gloss clear to protect it. The body was left "as is" so the buyer can see what he or she is getting. The window rubbers, door seals, anti rattlers and most of the glass is new. The truck drives great, handles well and goes straight.
