For sale I have a 1964 Chevrolet Corvair Monza convertible. It is your typical barn find that has been out of commission for 15 years. Actual miles are unknown but on the odometer it reads 71,581. The car comes with a clear title. We installed new plugs, plug wires, distributor cap and points, we also changed out the carburetors with two from a 1965 Corvair. The car starts and runs strong and it shifts properly through the gears. While testing the vehicle we were not using the gas tank in the vehicle but off of a separate fuel cell. The gas tank integrity will need checking prior to using it. Other than the items listed above nothing else touched as I wanted to get this up and running. Expect to have to service or replace items due to the fact that it had been sitting for the past 15 or so years. The body appears straight and accident free as far as I can see. There is evidence of previous bodywork in the trunk and wheel wells due to our Minnesota winters. The lights, and turn signals work. Front turn signals were not active and my guess is that was due to a burnt set of bulbs but the rears did work. Radio has been unchecked. Heater has been unchecked as well. The rag top needs replacing as you can see but the frame is good. The car will need to be transported via a trailer to its new home. There is some rust at the base of the drivers side door post and a small rust thru spot and some surface rust on passenger side below the rear window. Floor pans have some patch work done. The car didn't have brakes so I traded out the master cylinder and now it sorta has brakes. And it does leak fluids.
