For sale is a gorgeous & garage-kept 2002 Mercury Grand Marquis 4-door sedan. Color is light blue metallic with a light graphite (gray) cloth interior with darker medium graphite carpet. We are the second owners of this Marquis and car was originally purchased in NC and always meticulously maintained and garaged there by the first owner. This smoke-free and pet-free vehicle has a fresh VA inspection and clean VA title ready to transfer. It was just washed & hand waxed and shines like new, the only blemish is a minor rub mark just below the RH front side marker lamp on the bumper that could use a spot of touch-up (see photo). All fluids have been recently changed including power steering system, radiator flush w/ coolant, brake system bled and we run Motorcraft synthetic blend oil in the 4.6L V-8 engine. The car has a new battery, Ford fuel pump & sender assembly (fuel filter changed as well). serpentine belt, and new Motorcraft OEM platinum spark plugs installed. Motor starts and runs effortlessly and is smooth and quiet at interstate speeds. You can expect between 18-24 mpg depending on your driving habits. Some features include: PW, P-locks, power driver's seat with power recline and lumbar controls, AM/FM Cass. radio w/ Radio Data Service (RDS where available), interior light theatre dimming feature, heated outside mirrors, ABS & traction control, PATS ignition system (security system that prevents theft by use of a coded key - 2 keys included), floor mats, compact spare properly inflated with jack and tire tool, owner's manual portfolio with all paperwork and manuals and autolamp system (turns headlamps on & off automatically). Vehicle has always been garage-kept, out of the sun & elements and the glossy paint and crystal clear headlight lenses show it. Tires are in excellent condition with about 70% of treadwear left. They are Michelin symmetry (with slim whitewalls turned inside). Marquis was special-ordered with the stylish 16" LS aluminum rims and all were balanced & rotated since we've owned it. Our family downsized just after purchasing the vehicle and we just simply don't need this vehicle. You won't find a cleaner or a better-maintained Grand Marquis on the internet for sale from a private owner (who has family at the local Ford dealership service dept.) ! I also have available all reciepts for replacement parts including the Ford fuel pump and some documentation from the original owner. I have kept a detailed maintenance record log in the glove compt. to record oil changes and other mechanical repairs. These will be included with the vehicle. Only Motorcraft 5W-20 synthetic blend motor oil is used and fuel tank was recently filled with fresh, ethanol-free gasoline.
