I purchased this beautiful 1989 Mercedes Benz 560SL in 1994 from the Mercedes Benz Dealer in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I am the second owner and have owned it for the past 18 years. The car had 22,000 miles when I bought it and the current mileage is 59,756. It has a rare Mercedes Benz metallic teal exterior color and a cream leather interior. The paint is all original and the car has never been in an accident. It has never been smoked in. The headliner on the hard top is as clean as it was on the first day. The EBAY Vehicle History Report will confirm that this car is a true Florida car all it's life. I own two other Mercedes Benz automobiles and I have only driven this car on weekends and it has always been garaged and hand washed. It has the original brown Mercedes soft top which has been used only a dozen times. It is in MINT condition. This exterior of the car is in excellent condition. There are no dings, dents and only a couple of very minor scratches!!!!! The chrome is shiney, shiney and the rubber on the bumpers is in amazing condition. The paint is beautiful. The interior is very, very clean. The Queen of England could eat her supper off the floor !!!!! The leather seats show little wear and the seat springs are great. The dash has no cracks and is not dried out. The wood around the gear shifter has several minor cracks. The back ledge storage area is very clean. The trunk area is very clean with no spots. The air conditioner needs freon (R-22) and the heater valve needs to be replaced ($400 at a MB dealer). The motor is unbelivable. It runs very strong. When the car is at a stop light and the motor idles, you cannot hear the motor and there is no vibratiion !!!!! You do not even know that the motor is running !!!!! The tires are four matched Michelin tires and have 1/2 tread left. I have had this car ONLY serviced at a Mercedes Benz dealership. All repairs and servicing have been done with only Mercedes Benz parts. The Mercedes Benz dealer has done everything - from an oil change every 2M miles to replacing the windshield wippers with Mercedes wippers to Mercedes Benz parts for the motor. EVERYTHING on this car is an authorized Mercedes Benz part !!!!! The current mileage is 59,756.
