This is an outstanding example of a 1973 Mustang Convertible. This car has had a complete frame-up restoration, and it is excellent condition inside and out. EVERYTHING was taken apart, rebuilt and reconditioned to like-new standards. You can see some photos of the restoration process near the bottom of the description. We are told by the previous owner that the car has just about 1000 miles on it since the rebuild, and looking at the car we believe it (we do not know the date of the restoration) This car has a numbers-matching "Q-code" 351-4v Cleveland motor, and it runs great. The builder left some notes on the car and the components that are in it. (Please see the 2 pictures below). highlights include the 351 Cleveland V8, a rare factory NASA hood (non-functional), a factory competition suspension, extra gauges, and many engine-compartment upgrades. The paint is stunning. It is a bright blue metallic color called "Acapulco Blue". It's accented with silver stripes. All of the chrome looks great. No dents, no dings. The top is also in fantastic shape with no stains, holes, or tears. According to the re-builder, this is one of just eleven convertibles that came from the factory in 1973 with the air induction NASA hood (non-functional). The interior is also beautiful. Its obvious that a lot of care was put into doing this right, and great attention was paid to detail. All of the seats, dash, door panels, and carpet are EXCELLENT. The car has factory A/C, power steering, an 8K tach and extra gauges, and there is a Kenwood AM/FM/CD stereo. During the restoration, all of the glass was also replaced, including the glass rear window. The boot for the top is also with the car. The trunk is clean. The Cleveland 351ci V8 starts right up and runs strong. The exhaust sounds great, too. Again, almost everything under the hood has been rebuilt and / or upgraded. Please see the builder's notes near the top of the description. This car runs BETTER than it did when it was new. The car is clean underneath, and no rust on the doors or door jambs. Payment/Fees We will add a $399 dealer prep charge to the final bid price. If a vehicle is not picked up within 10 days of the auction close, we reserve the right to charge a reasonable storage fee. You may pay the purchase price with cash in person, with a cashiers or certified check or bank-to-bank wire transfer. These forms are acceptable for the deposit as well, and we will accept Paypal for the deposit only. If you are the winner, a $500 non-refundable deposit within 48 hours of the end of the auction is sufficient to hold the vehicle until the remainder can be sent or car is picked up. If these forms of payment are not acceptable, please do not bid. Final payment is expected within five (5) days thereafter. If you are seeking financing, please be sure to hold off on your bid until your funding has been approved. I DO NOT ACCEPT BANK DRAFTS OF ANY KIND. You are responsible for your own finance arrangements so please take care of them before bidding. We recommend that you do not send payment via regular mail or priority mail. If you have the vehicle shipped, we will not charge you any sales tax (however, you will have to pay your state's tax at home). Legal Disclaimer: The parties agree to the following with regard to dispute resolution: Any disputes between the parties must first be addressed by mediation. The mediation must occur in Broward County, Florida. The parties will split the cost of the mediator. The parties must personally appear in Broward County for the mediation. If a party is a corporation, then only the President of the corporation or the corporation's highest ranking officer will satisfy the aforementioned appearance requirement for mediation. Representatives of the parties will not satisfy the aforementioned requirement. The aforementioned mediation is required prior to the initiation of civil litigation. If mediation does not resolve the dispute, then the parties agree that only the 17th Judicial Circuit Court for Broward County, Florida can resolve the dispute. The parties specifically agree that they will be responsible for their own litigation costs and attorney fees for mediation, civil litigation and appeals. The parties recognize that the State of Florida has laws which provide for the shifting of the burden of attorney fees. In the interest of reducing the risk and complexity of litigation caused by those laws, the parties agree to waive any rights they may have to attorney fees under those laws.
