BUFFNERN Store Here is a 1974 VW Baja Beetle that runs and drives, It is not a show car but it is a fun little summer get around toy. Everything works on the car except the heater. The heater tubes on the exhaust were eliminated due to the aftermarket exhaust that was installed. I think you can order replacement tubes that allow you to install heat again. There is an electric heater inside that kinda takes the chill off on a cool morning. The floors have been repaired , the rocker panels have been replaced . Interior is in decent condition for its age. I think this may need a new battery , I did not drive the car last year due to building a new toy. The car will start after battery is charged but battery will only hold a charge for a few days if not driven daily. I just really dont want to spend the money to buy new battery for something that is just sitting. One picture is when we were at GB NWTC show a few years back its the car in the middle. Any of the white fiber glass parts in the car have not been painted. I strongly suggest coming and looking and driving the car before bidding. There is a some rust on the front suspension apron pan. I also have the car for sale locally and will remove this listing if sold locally , email for more details. I am pretty sure that miles are in excess.
