1955 Chevy 210 2 Door Post 383 Stroker Powered 700 R4 w/ Overdrive Power Steering / Power Front Disc Brakes / New Interior I would take this car and throw a good paint on it. Mechanical and Interior wise it is awesome. It is a paint job away............... This is a nice, clean, and solid example of the classic '55 Chevy. Since assembly in Oakland, its a safe bet that this vehicle has remained in the Bay Area. These California cars are very desirable and stay virtually rust free, like this one. The all steel body is straight and solid with all gaps looking uniform and consistent. Frame and undercarriage are in good condition and damage free as well. This car has served as a daily driver, and with the added refinements has been a real joy to drive. *383 Stroker engine~Runs strong, recently installed aftermarket aluminum intake manifold. *700 R4 Transmission~Great to have overdrive *New Griffin Radiator~All aluminum with electric fan *Nice Stance~Rebuilt suspension with drop spindles and 2" lowering rear leaf springs riding on chrome 15" Chevy Rally Wheels with newer Radial T/A 60 Series tires. Rides FANTASTIC!! *A dual reservoir master cylinder and booster are installed and operate front disc brakes. A must with today's driving habits. *Brand New Interior~Bench seats and door panels done in a very stylish two toned light and dark grey tweed. New headliner is done in matching light grey. Brand new black carpets. *Tilt Steering Column with aftermarket Grant Steering Wheel *New "Vintage Air" under dash air conditioning system that includes a chrome compressor that's installed, but not yet hooked up. *New Flowmaster dual exhaust system~Sounds GREAT!! ~More About The Car~ The mileage shows 1 MILE on the odometer, actual not known, but what a great place to start with a new owner...You perhaps?? She was painted 30 years ago in a lacquer paint that has checking all over. Looks good from 20 feet, though. Appears that the original color was probably red and that this current color is the only repaint. Not bad for a 57 year old auto!! All original chrome and stainless are in good shape. Front and rear bumper must have been re-chromed at some point, they shine really nice! Glass is in overall good shape, although driver door window is cracked. Interior looks very sharp and the original dash is uncut and still houses a push button AM radio. This car is extremely solid and a lot of fun to drive.
