You are placing a bid on an original 66 nova 2 door sedan. Car was special ordered from Island Chevrolet in Staten Island New York. Car was special ordered with Danube blue exterior paint color, 327/275 V8,dual exhaust,power glide trans,Hd 4 core radiator,hd front and rear suspension,rear air shocks,posi rear end. I have the original dealer order sheet,dealer invoice,owners manuals,maintenance records etc. The car has 74850 original miles on it. It still has original drive train,rear end,etc . The only things changed on car are the following new dual exhaust with flow master mufflers, all new radial tires,new fuel tank,new points,radiator has been flushed/checked,brakes have been gone thru. Car has ALL originla interior,85 percent of it's original paint. The trunk still has original splatter paint in it and is RUST FREE.The only rusted areas on the car are top of drivers fender(1in by 10in on top leading edge back by hood hinges)see pics,bottom of both front fenders(about the size of a silver dollar)see pics,and the drivers side front toe board by gas pedal(I was going to install new pan to make it that much nicer of repair). The car had an old school alarm that had a key tumbler in the drivers front fenders. The tumbler has been removed.(there is a hole the size of a dime where tumbler was) The car has had minor touch ups/paint work in the past. the drivers side quarter has been repaired at some time(along time ago because the lacquer paint is aged pretty close to original). Car is very straight and all gaps are nice. Doors,hood and trunk close like new. All glass ic VERY NICE. When clean it is hard to tell glass is rolled up in car. Car runs and drives like a new car. There are NO issues with the drivetrain. Car will start right up in 10 degree weather with no problems.My plans were to tear car down and repaint it. I have too many irons in the fire so I am offering for sale. Car painted and cleaned up is worth 28-32k all day. I have been involved in 66-67 novas for last 25 years and this is the only one like this I have ever seen or even heard of. This is a very rare little sedan. How many original 327 sedans have you ever seen??? That were ORIGINAL???? With dealer invoice,order sheets,etc??
