1966 Chevelle SS This car is an original SS 396 big block 360hp 4 speed car with a bench seat. The original color is butternut yellow with black vinyl top and black interior. The car is complete with all original parts except original motor, bench seat, and steering wheel. Currently has a 327 in it with the original 4 speed transmission, but does not run. It also comes with a 1966 396 correct block to build back to stock, but it is not the numbers matching motor. The body is over all pretty solid. The Qtrs have rust on the bottoms, but will not need full Qtrs installed- lower patches only. The doors have rust on the bottom and will need skinned. The fenders have rust at bottom but could easily be fixed. Hood and trunk are good, and seems to be solid around glass. The original vinyl top has been removed, which caused the roof to rust. Could be patched or replaced. The trunk pan and wheel houses are good and solid, but the front floor pans will need replaced. This would be a great car to restore, and for the price someone could make some good money- these cars are still breaking the bank all over the country. Its very hard to find an original SS. This car does have a good title.
