Selling this 1948 Chevrolet 2 ton truck. This came from a farm in Tennessee. It was running when I purchased it but it has been sitting for some years now. This truck has a 1957 truck engine in it. It is a 6 cylinder. It is a manual transmission with the old granny gears. It is 260" long with a 161" wheel base. The brakes do tend to lock up. The engine is not locked up. I have started putting a wooden bed on the back. The body is solid with one rust out where the heater coil leaked onto the floor. It does have a piece of sheet metal on this floor now. The glass is good except on the passenger side which has a crack. This comes with the 2 heavy duty hitches. The tires were new when I purchased this truck but it has been sitting.but still are good also i pay alot more than i an asking my lost yor gain This truck comes with some extra parts: V-belts (2) #15375 and (1) #15350, two new side mirrors (one still in the box and the other is on the truck), bulbs and fuses, headlight rings, seat cover.
