This auction is for a 1979 Ford F 150 Ranger pickup truck. It has an 8' bed, automatic tranny, 8 cyl., 351, 2 barrel carb, 2 wd, 1/2 ton, P.S., P.B. I bought this truck wrecked to fix up for myself. But since have bought a newer truck. Heres what I know about the truck. I bought the truck wrecked, replaced the hood, bumper, grille shell and ps front fender. No frame damage that I could see. This truck was nearly rust free with original paint. However, the parts I put on had some rust which I repaired myself. I repainted the truck in original blue metallic and white. It has the original Ford bedliner. The truck starts and runs fine. It does have a leaky brake line and radiator has a small seepage. I have only driven the truck around my house because it has no plate or insurance on it. It does seem to run good, does not smoke, has good oil pressure. All gauges seem to work. The seat on the drivers side has some tears. Dash is very nice. Frame looks good. Tranny shifts nicely.i have all the org 79 ford tk hub caps in good cond. Truck is sold AS IS. I have a small reserve. Truck is also for sale locally so I reserve the right to end auction early if necessary.this is not a show tk but it is a very respectable looking tk the one would not be ashamed to drive.
