This is a 1966 Chevrolet C-10 Fleetside Truck 327 V-8 4 Speed Manual Transmission with 4 Barrel Carburetor Solid 1966 Long Bed Pickup in need of restoration. It has a new battery, new fuel pump, recently cleaned gas line. The engine runs smoothly and feels very strong. All the gears work, and she stops well. The steering is very responsive and all original. The odometer reads 12,844. I am assuming it has turned over at least once so it’s probably 112, 000+. This truck RUNS & DRIVES and retains the majority of the ORIGINAL parts. It is complete, aged, and in well worn condition. This truck has the original 327 Cubic Inch V-8 Engine and 4 Speed transmission. It still retains the original paint, though well worn. It has the original wood bed with some adjustments for hauling, so it does need to be replaced. All the glass except the windshield is in good shape and intact. The body is in good shape, with some minor dents in the box on both sides near the rear bumper. All 4 tires are in good condition, having been replaced to get it on the road. The cab is water tight and the interior is in overall very good condition. The seats have had a cover on them for the past ten years, it is dusty and dirty but the original interior is intact, with some dry rotting and splitting on the drivers side. There is rust on both fenders, on the box rails where the rack posts insert. The front panel of box, floor pan on drivers side has an 8” area that has rusted through. There is a 4” area on the passengers side floor pan as well. The windshield is cracked. It needs a turn signal switch, brake lights don’t work and the glove box needs a new cardboard insert. This truck has not been on the road since 2002. It was parked after our nephew bought a newer truck, and he just never found the time or the money to get it refurbished. We recently put some minor work into it to get it on the road, but just don’t have the time to complete it. This great old truck could be up and running with a bit of expertise in no time!
