And why not start with this one... This is a 2005 VW GTI. It looks great, and its in very good condition. Best of all it is really, really fun to drive. the 1.8 liter turbo runs great and the Tiptronic automatic transmission lets you shift manually if you choose to. It also comes with about $1700 in factory options: the Luxury Package (moonroof and Monsoon stereo) and 17" wheel. This is a one owner, lifetime Florida GTI, so it hasn't been exposed to the road slat and rough conditions of northern roads. The exterior is in very good shape, with no notable dents or dings. The paint shines all around, and the dark blue metallic color is perfect for this car. Autocheck shows a front impact with a parked vehicle way back in 2006. It must have been a very minor incident - we can't find any residual signs of a problem at all. Exterior features include Optional 17" 15-spoke wheels. The interior is clean and in very, very, good condition. The seats are very nice with no rips or tears, and the dash and carpets are also in fine shape. The cloth on the front door panels is somewhat loose, but that's really the only noteworthy fault we could find with the car. The rear seat is also in very good shape. You can fold it down if you need extra cargo area. This GTI has a nice set of factory features: Automatic transmission; power windows, locks and mirrors; remote entry; tilt wheel; cruise control; cold air conditioning; rear defroster; Monsoon AM/FM/CD/Cassette stereo, and more.. The automatic "Tiptronic" transmission lets you shift sequentially through the gears. Its a great feature to have on hilly roads or in bad weather conditions - or if you just want to have a little fun. This VW also has a power glass moonroof. The manual is with the car. The 1.8 liter turbo REALLY runs great. Its rated at 180hp and 173 lb-ft of torque from the factory. That's MORE than enough power for a car of this size. It also gets very good fuel mileage, rated at 22/29 mpg. The tires have very good tread all the way around. This GTI may be driven, so it may have more miles on it by the time the auction is over. Payment/Fees We will add a $399 dealer prep charge to the final bid price. If a vehicle is not picked up within 10 days of the auction close, we reserve the right to charge a reasonable storage fee. You may pay the purchase price with cash in person, with a cashiers or certified check or bank-to-bank wire transfer. These forms are acceptable for the deposit as well, and we will accept Paypal for the deposit only. If you are the winner, a $500 deposit within 48 hours of the end of the auction is sufficient to hold the vehicle until the remainder can be sent or car is picked up. If these forms of payment are not acceptable, please do not bid. Final payment is expected within five (5) days thereafter. If you are seeking financing, please be sure to hold off on your bid until your funding has been approved. I DO NOT ACCEPT BANK DRAFTS OF ANY KIND. You are responsible for your own finance arrangements so please take care of them before bidding. We recommend that you do not send payment via regular mail or priority mail. We have experienced lost checks several times. We recommend that if you are sending payment, that you use registered, return receipt mail or FedEx. This is for you protection, as well as ours. Important tax info: If you are a Florida resident, you will be required to pay Florida's 6% sales tax and registration fees. If you are not a Florida resident, and you are are driving the vehicle away from our lot, you will be required to pay your state's sales tax up to 6%. If your state's sales tax is more than 6%, you will be required to pay the difference in your home state. If your state has no sales tax on motor vehicles, we will not charge you any sales tax. If you have the vehicle shipped, we will not charge you any sales tax (however, you will have to pay your state's tax at home). Legal Disclaimer: The parties agree to the following with regard to dispute resolution: Any disputes between the parties must first be addressed by mediation. The mediation must occur in Broward County, Florida. The parties will split the cost of the mediator. The parties must personally appear in Broward County for the mediation. If a party is a corporation, then only the President of the corporation or the corporation's highest ranking officer will satisfy the aforementioned appearance requirement for mediation. Representatives of the parties will not satisfy the aforementioned requirement. The aforementioned mediation is required prior to the initiation of civil litigation. If mediation does not resolve the dispute, then the parties agree that only the 17th Judicial Circuit Court for Broward County, Florida can resolve the dispute. The parties specifically agree that they will be responsible for their own litigation costs and attorney fees for mediation, civil litigation and appeals. The parties recognize that the State of Florida has laws which provide for the shifting of the burden of attorney fees. In the interest of reducing the risk and complexity of litigation caused by those laws, the parties agree to waive any rights they may have to attorney fees under those laws.
