Vehicle Detail
For auction is a 1954 Ford, 2 door hardtop Victoria. I am giving up on my project car and am ready to let it go. This car was barn-stored since the 70's, and has been in my garage for the past few years. The picture of the car in the grass was taken a few years ago before the restoration was started. All other pictures displays the car in its current condition. The frame is solid. It was removed from the car, sandblasted, primed and painted. The entire drive train has been updated. A 68 Ford 390 engine was completely rebuilt and installed. The transmission is a manual 4-speed (3 plus overdrive) which was professionally rebuilt. The rear is a Ford Locker from a Ranger. A custom driveshaft was made and balanced. The front wheel have been converted to power disc brakes. A rack and pinion steering unit has been installed. The brakes and steering have not had the hydraulics installed yet. The body of the car has some surface rust but not bad. The front floor needs panels welded in on both sides. The rest of the floor and trunk are solid. I have a load of replacement chrome that goes with the car.... the front grill pieces, rechromed front bumper, emblems, airplane hood ornament, taillight assemblies, I have all body parts for the car .. fenders, hood, doors, etc. The glass is OK except for one crack in the vent window on one of the doors. The interior panels are average to good shape but far from perfect. Both front and rear seats are complete but in need of total reupolstering. I was planning on putting in custom seats and upolstering but held on to the old ones just in case. Email if you have any questions. The winning bidder is responsible for transportation. I am in central Pennsylvania.
