This auction is for a 1968 AMC AMX Go Pac 390 project car. This AMX was originally a 390ci., Automatic Trans, Posi Rear in Blazer Blue with white racing stripes and a Black Bucket seat interior. This car does have front disc brakes on it. This car is in very good restorable condition. The original 390 and automatic trans have been replace with a correct vintage 343ci. and a Borg Warner 4sp out of another AMX. The car still has its original posi traction rear end. The body on this car is very solid. This car still wears most of its original paint. Someone has put a little primer on the sides of the car to protect the metal but the car has never been wrecked. The left front fender was missing when I got the car but I got a good, rust free replacement fender from the West Coast and it is on the car now. Good floor pans and trunk pan. The only area that needs work is the left rear quarter panel (an inner and outer repro lower patch panel is included with this package). There are lots of parts that come with this project car and it is basically 95% complete. These include the heater controls and the rocker moldings (both of which are not pictured but are included). This car was originally from Georgia and it is sold with a Georgia registration and an old Georgia title (in Georgia all cars older than ten years old only need a registration slip for ownership). The glass is all good and the car has a dash Tach. This car is number 0372. The motor will run on this car with a little work. It just needs a fresh battery put in it and put a little gas and the carb and she'll fire up. The front seats are not pictured but are included with this project and they are the original AMX bucket seats ... they just need to be recovered. The car will need to be trailered or towed but it rolls easily and I can assist with loading the car at my location. I DO NOT end any of my auctions early! PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS: At the end of the auction the successful high bidder will have three (3) business days to send a $200.00 deposit which is non-refundable. Once the deposit is received the high bidder will have two weeks to make arrangements for the vehicle to be picked up or shipped and to pay the balance. At the time the vehicle is picked up or before, payment by CASH, UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE MONEY ORDERS, BANK WIRE TRANSFER, or CERTIFIED BANK CHECK drawn on a national bank with a local branch in Brandon, Fl. like Bank of America, SunTrust, Wachovia, etc… must be received. These are the only payment options that will be accepted. Cash or Bank Wire transfer transactions will release the vehicle immediately to be picked up or transported. Since cashiers checks from out of state banks can have a stop payment issued on them. There will be a 10-day hold on the release of the vehicle and title if payment is made with a cashiers check issued from some other bank besides the ones listed above. If a cashier’s check is received from one of the banks listed above with a local branch then once I have received that check I will take it to my local bank branch and cash it. STORAGE OF VEHICLE: After the vehicle has been paid for the successful bidder will have 2 weeks to either pick up the vehicle themselves or arrange for a shipping company to come and pick up the vehicle. If the vehicle has not been picked up by the third week a storage charge of $10.00 a day will be accessed on the vehicle which will have to be paid before the vehicle will be released.
