We have a pretty decent southern Camaro project for sale. I bought it out of Tennessee. It is for sale on the West KY C-L, so we reserve the right to end this auction early. DRIVETRAIN: It is a small block Chevy 305 V-8 and 700R4 transmission. The engine was rebuilt (or partially rebuilt) by a shop but the previous owner was never able to get it running. I cannot make any promises about the engine, as I got it pretty much as I am selling it. I have never tried to start it. I would suggest tearing it down and inspecting/servicing it before trying to start it. I don't know what all work was done by previous owner. I believe it was totally rebuilt as the engine had a lot of good new parts and fresh paint and gaskets on it. I don't think the previous owner would have spent all that money dolling it up, if he didn't think it was going to run. As a result of this situation this car is sold AS-IS. The engine has new gaskets and paint overall. It also has a brand new set of Heddman headers (still have the box) on it. They have never had heat put to them. The new carb, new intake and chrome Edelbrock valve covers are NOT INCLUDED. We are using them on my sons' cars (engine is still sealed as of this time, but these parts are not included). We do have the original valve covers and intake that will go with the car. INTERIOR: Interior is gray and tattered (seats). These are out of a 3rd gen Firebird but they fit perfectly. We also have a red 3rd gen Camaro interior, if the buyer would prefer that color. It isn't cherry, but it isn't horrible either. Dash pad is cracked. BRAKES/TIRES: Brakes are functional and operate properly. Rally wheels and tires shown are sold and are also NOT INCLUDED. The car will come with airholders to get it on and off your trailer. BODY: Body is pretty nice. It has no signs of rust through or rust problems of any kind. Not bad for a 27 year old car. Paint is presentable as it sits, but there are a few dings and scratches over the car. It is good enough to use as is, though. The windows are tinted. SUMMARY: This Camaro is a really decent builder and it could be pretty nice with a moderate effort, and as you can well see, it looks pretty good just like it sits. I have a clear title and keys for it. It would make a good first car project, father/son (or daughter?) project, weekend cruiser, sleeper or drag car. It's just too nice to part out but if it doesn't sell we will consider selling more stuff off of it. WILL PART OUT IF IT DOESN'T SELL. We will ship overseas, however, foreign buyer works out details from port to port. We can help get this car to American port, if desired. We can store this car for 30 days without extra cost.
