AND WITH $100 SHIPPING!!* (see details ‘Important Note’ below) This 1969 HONDA CL125A 125cc TWIN is a mostly complete original bike – it is missing the exhaust system – in very good overall un-restored condition. The bike has fading and small dings and scratches fro normal use and being 40+ years old – but is still quite a nice survivor. The gas tank is clean and dry inside - it has very, very light flash rust that looks like it will simply rinse out - no leaks, no rust through, and no scale or varnish. The engine turns freely and smoothly - it does seem to be down on compression a bit – so I will include a new top end gasket kit, just in case it needs rings or a valve job. It may be as simple as a valve adjustment – this is a project that I have not been able to start on due to recent medical issues. The original wheels and hubs are in very good condition - the rims are straight and the chrome on the rims is very nice, and the spokes are not rusty. The original seat pan and foam are intact and good, but the seat cover is shot. As stated earlier, the exhaust system is missing - all other parts and pieces appear to be original except for the speedo housing – the speedometer shows 6005 miles – I do not know if this is original or not since the housing has been changed - but based on the overall condition of the bike, I find it likely to be the original mileage. Look the photos over carefully, and ask any questions prior to bidding. This bike should be an easy restoration project, or a great survivor to ride and enjoy.
