1993 FORD FESTIVA -West Coast Rust Free, 13" Tires! Here is a 1993 Ford Festiva with 125,000 actual miles and absolutely free of body rust. It is a West Coast car, having been in Nevada and Oregon all it's life and it sat for a number of years, resulting in lower than normal mileage. If you are looking at this listing, you are probably familiar with the sub-compact Ford Festiva with the Korean body and Mazda 1300 cc engine. These cars are super reliable and get phenomenal mileage (35-38mpg with the auto trans) , yet are better built then and offer a better ride the lightweight Geo Metros. I have owned 5 of them and am only selling this one as I prefer my 1992 with the 5 speed and dark blue paint. This is a final year model, a 1993 GL and it possibly the best year as all the bugs were worked out. It has fuel injection, air conditioning and a rear window wiper and washer. The paint is turquoise and the interior is gray. It has a sound engine with great compression and it runs well. But best of all, it has custom aluminum rims with 13 inch tires! Those original dinky 12" tires are getting hard to find and the 13' ones result in better handling and milage. The original mini spare, jack and lug wrench are included. This is a very clean car for it's almost 20 years of age but it's not in mint condition. The issues are as follows; the A/C does not blow cold- it could need a charge or some type of service but it is complete without any missing parts. The body has the normal wear and tear for a vehicle of this age- small scratches and chips in the paint, minor door dings, the left fender has some paint touch ups, and one headlight lense has a crack. The muffler rattles a little sometimes when it's cold, the dome light doesn't work (a common problem with Festiva's), the driver's seat has a 3 inch tear, and the carpets are dirty- little problems that can be easily solved. But overall, this car is an excellent find with low miles and a rust free and straight body. It will get you 35 mpg and better, depending how you drive it and Festiva's are easy to repair and fun to drive.
