I bought this car a few months ago.....but have since realized an older car isn't really for my wife, kids, and I. It is a nice car as it is. It runs and drives good, but isn't perfect. I will do my best to describe this 1966 Ford Mustang. Please understand I am not a mechanic, or a restoration person etc. This car is not a 10...but someone that has know-how and enjoys mechanic and restoration work, for the price it is a great car. It does start and run and shift etc. It can be driven and enjoyed as it is on nice days, but has plenty of opportunities for restoration. I made a few local trips in it. Most of interior looks really nice and has been recently redone. It isn't perfect, but the seats, door panels, and carpet look pretty nice. The dash area hasn't been replaced. It is solid and is not cracked, but is wavy.... The paint job is not a top of the line paint job, but looks good from a distance. Hopefully the pictures show condition. The top has been cut out of the mustang. It wasn't originally a convertible, and does not have a vinyl a top. I was told tops can be purchased or made, but I liked it the way it is. The motor starts and runs strong. I am not a mechanic, and was enjoyable the few times I drove it. I am not sure the size of the motor other than it is a V8...I was told by one person it was a that it looked like a 302. I was also told the motor has also been cammed up and is quite powerful. There is a good bit of rust underneath the car. It does have some bondo work also. It does leak what appears to be transmission fluid when sitting. It looks like it could be coming from the pan, but am not sure. It does shift good. I haven't had to add fluid. I am unsure of actual miles. The odometer shows 13,733 but would imagine it is not actual. This is a 45 year old car, and is not in perfect condition. It can be enjoyed as is, but certainly has plenty of opportunity for tinkering and restoration. I have explained as best I know how the car. It does not have any warranty as I would assume almost no 66 mustangs have...it is sold as is. Payment in full within 10 days. Accepted payment is cash, money order, cashiers check, or paypal only.
