EXTREMELY solid 1970 Toyota Land Cruiser. Frame is extra nice, most sheet metal nice. This truck was rust proofed when it was newer, and only now is some of that starting to peel back...really decent looking underside. One weird mystery rust hole on the inside of the passenger door, but the door is not rusted out?? Front passenger fender has a little rusted out spot right above the wheel that will be an easy fix for even a newbie bodyman. Engine has a header and Holley Carb. Interior has the rear heater run by the heater hoses you see on the passenger floor. NO rear seats. Some rear rust out underneathby the rear door, and the rear door mechanism is broken, so I can see the extent of the rust out area below the doors (Very common rust area. Overall the floors are actually very solid, some surface scale as seen, but no noticed holes or anything like that..... It has a fifth wheel that will be included. I do not know if it runs because I have neither a set of keys OR a title. Repeat no title...I will be selling on a bill of sale with a police inspection performed to prove that their is nothing hinky with the ownership. This is a true barn find that was stored long term out of the elements. Most of the projects out there on these are total trash, and have way to much rust to deal with.......This truck is decent enough looking to get it running, an have some fun with it while you come up with a game plan on your restoration. The windshield is cracked, and the rear windows have a tint job that is cracking off, so with a razor blade and an hour the rear windows will look much brighter....Feel free to leave me contact information if you want to come and take a look at it....I will call you back! No warranty and it is currently not drivable, as it has not been run in many years. The license plate is from 1983 if that gives you an idea.......54,XXX original miles......Very neat find for you land cruiser guys......If you have a rot wagon version of this, you can probably transer a lot of the good things from this onto your rot wagon..... THE LEGAL PART- I will ship, but the vehicle will not move unitl all funds are paid AND cleared through the bank. Buyer is in charge of all arrangements and payment of the shipping costs, I will not be getting in the middle of some shipping scam that you wish to invent. Arrange your own shipper and pick up arrangements can be worked once car is paid for..... Car must be paid for in FULL within 7 days and picked up within 14 days. NO keys, so remind your shipper that it is an inoperable car, and to bring a winch. On Aug-22-11 at 17:33:25 PDT, seller added the following information: FYI, This vehicle is a 1971 not a 1970, the ID tag said 1970 but it is a November date, so the police officer that inspected it states that this is probably a 1971 Model Year vehicle..... Indiana Police ran a full check on this and it is clean as a whistle as far as the vehicle goes, no outstanding anything......On Aug-23-11 at 22:30:43 PDT, seller added the following information: Full disclosure...We had a wail of a rain storm today, and when I went out the front floors were damp. It appears that there are two small holes drilled into the ceiling for a light bar, and another two (filled) holes for an overhead console.....It is not a crisis, but I wanted all of you to know........I did not notice because this has been in dry storage, so it never occured to me to look up there.....Sorry!
