Vehicle Detail

1979 suzuki gs 1000 motorcycle, would be a perfect muscle cafe racer with hardley any mods needed. Bike starts up immidatly and runs extreemely strong, rides smooth through all 5 gears and runs 65mph at 4k rpm in third gear with redline at around 9k with two gears to go up still. just to give an example of the speed. 38k miles and runs execelent. Bike does not leak any oil or fuel on the ground at all. The bike has solid shocks all around front and rear. tires are good to go with lots of life in them. Seat looks and feels nice. It rides solid so it dosent shake or shimmy at all and all the brakes and lights work with the exception of the low beam, so I think it needs a new light bulb. The horn and all directionals work just fine. Bike has a brand new battery and is ready to ride anywhere to where you live no matter how far. The air box was removed and K&N chrome air pods were put on the intake system to increase the performance, also the bike has a 4 into one solid exhaust system which gives it a very throaty sound. Bike is stored inside in a heated concreet floor garage when not in use. Ok, so the bike runs great and rides great! The few things that are not original on it that I know of are the paint on the side covers gas tank and the two outer engine cases. First the left and right outer engine covers were for some reason painted silver in the past so that can be cleaned off if you want to just take some thinner to them and second the side covers both left and right including the tank and tailpiece were painted black. I can see that someone had put a gas leak patch on the tank in the past in a few spots under the paint where there were pinhole leaks before............dont worry it dosent leak though so they did a good job. The motor has some old dirty dried on gas on it that i have not tried to clean off but it wipes off if you rub it a little with a wet finger. That was there because of the gas leak it had way in the past and was just never cleaned off. The left front directional housing was repaired at one point before I got it and the right side cover has a 2" crack on the front of it. Lastly, the two chrome valve caps that are strictly cosmetic on the left side of the bike are missing. That is everything I know about the bike. It runs perfect and strong. Everyting wrong with the bike is purely cosmetic only with no mechanical defects at all. i bought this bike to take a trip to california on but now wont have the time because I just bought a house last week and that is taking up all my time and money so I just flat out wont have the time for a liesure trip anymore untill another few years now so Im just selling the bike. I have the clear wisconsin title in my hand and its unblemished and ready to be given to the new owner or winner of the auction. you can ride this bike anywhere in the usa without worry as far as I am concirned. If you want to fly into milwaukee on a one way flight in, I will meet you with the bike on a trailer and you can ride it home to wherever that is. Or you can pick it up at my place, or have a shipping company bring it to you. I know two people who can ship it cross country for anywhere between $300-$500 depending on where you live or you can go to www.uship.com to find a shipper you like. Or another option is to have me deliver it to you for $1.00 per loaded mile one way to your door immidatly after the auction ends.......................That is all up to you. BIKE MUST BE PAID FOR NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS AFTER THE END OF THE AUCTION!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you decide you want to come up to my place to get it and you need a few weeks to get up here that is perfectly fine as long as the bike is paid for withing the 5 days. upon payment I will mail you the title and keys so you will not have to worry about anyone messing with it, and it will stay locked in the garage. PLEASE DO NOT PLACE A BID UNLESS YOU ARE SERIOUS, ALL BIDS ON EBAY SHOULD BE PLACED WITH THE INTENTION OF WINNING THE ITEM FOR THAT AMOUNT OF YOUR MAX BID OR LESS..............SO IF YOU BID BE PREPARED TO BUY. If you want to come out to check it out first you are more than welcome to do so!!!!!!!!!!There is nothing to hide here. GOOD LUCK AND HAPPY BIDDING ITS A FAST BIKE AT A CHEAP PRICE AND READY TO RIDE!!!!! BIDDING STARTS AT $600
